Pest control’s economics are unusual among the trades: the quarterly or bi-monthly plan is the asset, and customer lifetime value dwarfs the one-off visit. Which means the website’s real job isn’t just to catch the panic search — it’s to turn the “do I need ongoing pest control” shopper into a plan signup, and to do that at scale across every pest, every neighbourhood, and the commercial side too. We’d build dedicated pages explaining what a WDO report covers, turnaround, what happens if it finds something, and how to schedule for a closing date, with neighbourhood variants and a CTA built for that urgency. It’s separate from the residential plan funnel and the commercial path.

Can the cluster cover commercial accounts — restaurants, HOAs, warehouses — too?

Yes. Commercial pest control is lower volume per query but much higher value and longer cycle, and the buyer wants a documented program — for health inspections, audits, HOA boards. We’d add a B2B-flavoured slice: pages by facility type (food service, multifamily, warehousing, offices) speaking to compliance and documentation, with an RFP-style CTA rather than book-now. It’s usually layered on top of the residential build; sometimes scoped on its own.
